Cancelation Policy
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients.

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a fee (100% of the estimated appointment cost). If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a fee (50% of the estimated appointment cost).
To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide a cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Large dogs, multiple dogs, or any appointment that requires more than 2 hours may require a non-refundable deposit of 50% when booking. This deposit will be put towards the final balance. The deposit will NOT be refunded if you fail to cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice.

We follow the city of Lebanon's school closures and delays as they pertain to inclement weather. We try to work as long as conditions are not dangerous. If you are unsure, please call us to confirm.

Clients are required to provide credit card information. The card will only be charged a cancelation fee if the client fails to provide 48 hours' notice before canceling the appointment.

We understand that life happens. However, no-shows or cancellations will result in an invoice or credit card charge for the missed appointment. This fee must be paid in full before booking a new appointment.
Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Express Grooming Concept
Barkers primarily focuses on the Express Grooming Concept. We strive to provide a calm environment for dogs. We do this by grooming each dog straight through to limit the time your dog has to be away from home. Because of the convenience of our operations and our expertise, our prices tend to be higher than neighboring grooming shops.

*For everyone's safety, we do not encourage pet owners to remain present during the appointment.
Pick-up & Drop off
We ask that everyone arrives at the time of their appointment. Arriving early or late may interfere with someone else's appointment. You may receive a call or text 10-15 minutes prior to completion of the appointment and we ask that pick-up is prompt, thank you!
Vaccinations & Health
We require all pets to be up-to-date on rabies, DHP, and bordetella vaccinations starting at 6 months of age. If you are unable to obtain a physical copy of vaccination records, we can contact your vet.
We ask that any pre-existing health conditions be disclosed to us so we can ensure the proper care of your pet.

Barkers Barbershop For Dogs DECLINES to provide services to pregnant dogs.

FLEAS & TICKS
Your pet's health, safety, and well-being is our number one priority. Flea, tick, and/or other parasite infestations will not be tolerated. Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC requires all pets entering our facility to be treated monthly with a flea and tick preventative. Any pet found to be contaminated with fleas and/or ticks will be treated promptly at the owner's expense with our flea and tick shampoo. We will also treat other pets in the salon that may have been contaminated by your pet at the owner's expense. Pets with an infestation of fleas and/or ticks will be asked to be picked up immediately and treated at home to prevent spreading to other pets. If Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC finds an infestation of fleas or ticks on a pet, a (de-bugging) cleaning fee of +/-$75 will be added in addition to the groom price for this service. There may be side effects to the shampoo including, but not limited to; allergic reactions, which may result from the manufacturer-recommended usage of said products, which Client agrees that Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC will not be held responsible for. Additionally, Client is also aware that any such treatments are not guaranteed to be one hundred (100%) effective.

EAR PLUCKING & ANAL GLANDS
​We pluck ear hair and express anal glands PER REQUEST ONLY with an additional fee of $10. Unnecessarily performing these procedures can cause irritation and infections. Anal glands are naturally expressed when your dog uses the restroom to provide a natural lubricant. Over expression may cause the glands not to function properly.
*Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC is not responsible for any irritation/infections caused by these procedures. The owner assumes all risks associated with ear plucking and anal gland expression.

MATTED COATS
Our approach to safely removing matted fur:
Upon initial assessment, your groomer will determine the condition of your dog's coat. If minimal matting is present, we have the tools and expertise to comfortably remove the mats. If your dog is determined to have severe matting, it is our policy to shave the whole coat. Shaving is the only way to remove a pelt safely, without causing any pain.

Part of Barker's Philosophy is to educate dog owners on coat maintenance. Matting can cause a variety of health issues including but not limited to:

Prevention of temperature regulation

Skin irritation & infections

Masking parasites such as fleas, ticks, scabies, hookworm ect. ​​
A de-matting fee will be applied to the final grooming price depending on severity.​

*DISCLOSURE*
Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC is not responsible for any clipper irritation, nicks, or self-inflicted wounds (ie: hematomas) caused by shaving a matted coat. It is the owner's responsibility to prevent matting and care for the dog's coat between grooming appointments.

*All sales are final. Refunds will not be given for services rendered.

* BARKERS BARBERSHOP FOR DOGS LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO USE PHOTOS OF YOUR DOG TAKEN BY US ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS SUCH AS FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM AND FOR ANY OTHER MEDIA/ADVERTISING PURPOSES. WE OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS TAKEN AT BARKERS BARBERSHOP FOR DOGS.
Service Agreement
- Barkers Barbershop for dogs is an EXPRESS grooming service.
-We may notify you 10-15 minutes prior to appointment completion and we do ask that pick-up is prompt. If you're unavailable at pickup, an extended pet care fee may be added to your invoice. We ask for notice if you plan to leave you pet with us.
-Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Arriving early will interfere with someone else’s appointment.
-If you are 10 minutes late to your appointment, we will not be able to accommodate you and will have to reschedule.
-Appointment reminders are sent out 48 hours prior to your appointment. If your appointment is left "unconfirmed", we may cancel your appointment and offer it to someone on our waiting list.
-Base price for services is $75/hr. Price will vary depending on breed, coat condition, temperament, special instructions/breed specific cuts and add-on services. Price is subject to change at any time.

-Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....
——The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Barkers Barbershop for Dogs LLC cannot be held liable.
——The pet's rabies, bordetella and DHP vaccines are up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
____Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC declines providing grooming services to pregnant dogs.
——In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Barkers Barbershop for Dogs LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian (Four Paws Animal Hospital) and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
--By signing this agreement, you authorize Barkers Barbershop For Dogs LLC employees to perform C.P.R. on your pet if necessary in an emergency situtation.
*ACCIDENTS: There is always the possibility an accident could occur. Grooming equipment is sharp, even though we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including clipper irritation, cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when a pet is wiggling or moving around. Every effort will be made to insure your pet is groomed as safely as possible. Barkers Barbershop for Dogs LLC is not responsible for an accident caused by an unruly pet.
——Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check or credit card. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. Our rates are based on the duration of the groom and condition of your pet. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
---Credit card transactions will be charged a 3% convenience fee
——We offer anal gland expression and ear plucking per request only as an add-on service, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian to avoid irritation.
——“De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems, hematomas and clipper irritation for which Barkers Barbershop for Dogs LLC cannot be held liable.

——In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period.
——-We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.
2. No-Shows-----------------------It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.
——We reserve the right to charge the cancellation fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.
REFUND POLICY:-
All sales are final. Refunds can not be given for services rendered.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
