Meet The Barbers
Founder, CEO & National Certified Groomer
Hannah has been grooming since 2007. Her passion for grooming was inspired by dog shows she would watch with her Grandmother, Beeba when she was younger. After many years of "just grooming" in not-so-nice shops, she decided to take the next step and open her own salon. As a single mother during the pandemic of 2020, this was a scary feat but something had to be done. She needed to provide for her daughter. She wanted to learn everything about the industry. She wanted to be the best. She wanted to COMPETE! Now, she is certified through the National Dog Groomers Association of America, she competes nationwide and never stops learning. She specializes in Terriers and Poodles. Barkers Barbershop For Dogs is now the home of 5 full time stylists and we keep on growing! Dreams DO come true!

Sarah began grooming in 2017 and has been a part of the Barkers team since March 2021. She inherited her love of animals from her parents who were always rescuing animals that were in need of a home or special medical care. Growing up in a house full of pets, she knew she wanted to work with animals as an adult. After pursuing careers in cosmetology and veterinary technology, she decided to combine both skills and become a pet stylist. Currently, Sarah owns one cat, Brisco County Jr. Her best friend, a Hound mix named Mia, passed away earlier this year but she plans to adopt another dog in the future. Her favorite dogs to groom are puppies, Golden Retrievers and Pitbulls. Sarah specializes in hand scissoring, curly and wavy coats, lamb trims and customer relationships. She has clients that come all the way from California to have their pets groomed by her! She is extremely talented and Barkers wouldn't be the same without her!
Heather joined the Barkers team in 2022. She has been grooming since 2005. During her career, she has had some amazing mentors, allowing her to hone her skills. Heather is very passionate and talented. She enjoys establishing relationships with not only the pets she cares for, but their owners too. She specializes in Teddy Bear styles, hand scissoring and wavy and curly coats. She continues her education by attending seminars all over the country. Heather is a mother of two boys and her husband is in the Air Force. She is happy to finally be home in Ohio and plans to plant her roots here. Animals have always been a huge part of her life because she grew up on a farm! To say we are lucky to have her as a part of our team is an understatement!
Kim began her grooming career in 2017. She completely fell in love with the craft, realizing it brings out a creative gift that she thought was dormant. Kim has attended grooming academies not only in the United States, but Korea as well! She has followed the trends of her favorite industry experts and mentors. She has diligently taken tips and lessons that have inspired her to find her own style. She implements techniques and skills she's learned and has established her own unique version of Asian Fusion Grooming. As the owner of a Husky, she has a passion for the large and hairy breeds. She also enjoys grooming senior dogs and puppies. She strives to ensure they have a safe, comfortable grooming experience. Kim also has a sassy cat.. and a husband, but who cares? He isn't important.
Barbershop Technician & Bather
Ever since Ari was a little girl she wanted to work around animals. She remembers her very first chapter book about ocean animals that her mom would read to her every night. This inspired her to become a marine biologist, veterinarian and a zoologist. Ari hopes to attend college so she can get a degree in wildlife rehabilitation. While being a bather may not be her forever job, she genuinely loves what she does! Her job allows her to see how much people can truly and wholly love their pets plus, DOGS ARE AWESOME!
